The  Virgin of Guadalupe is a symbol of the religious faith in Mexico and Mexicans around the world. What people might not know, is that the Virgen de Guadalupe and other incarnations of the Virgin Mary in Latin America, are based on miraculous apparitions from as long ago as the 16^th century.
